The Go With Bergamot Oil

You might think that Bergamot Oil has a familiar scent if you’ve ever had a whiff. Anyone who is a tea buff will recognise the aroma as it is an ingredient widely used in Earl Grey tea. Hailing from Italy, it has been the popular choice for alleviating stress, improving moods, and refreshing the skin. An oxymoron, Bergamot Oil is the most unique citrus extract because of its energising and soothing effects. This extract is not only used in teas but is popularly used in aromatherapy, used in a variety of beauty, massage therapy, and relaxation treatments. Because of these uses, it is no wonder why more and more people are turning to this ingredient for all its wondrous powers. Today, we will learn all about Bergamot Oil, its incredible benefits, and how to use this treatment in your aromatherapy care.

What is an Essential Extract?

An essential extract is an essence derived from roots, flowers, seeds, or bark, stronger than the source. Taken from the beauty of Mother Nature, essential extracts are incredibly powerful due to their heavy concentration. Examples of essential extracts include geranium, lavender, sweet orange, and of course, Bergamot Oil. They are produced through distillation as a potent chemical, requiring carrier oils such as coconut, sweet almond, jojoba, and more to reduce the concentration. Essential extracts such as Bergamot Oil have an intense aroma than their original, making them the perfect soothing aromatherapy treatment. Each of these essential extracts holds various benefits that can improve moods and make skin more rejuvenated and moisturised. With all these benefits, they are widely used in a variety of different recipes, including massage treatments, candlemaking, homemade lotions, and much more. In the next few sections, we’re going to focus on a particular essential extract, Bergamot Oil, and how it can be a great addition to your aromatherapy arsenal kit!

What is Bergamot Oil?

Bergamot Oil is a distinctive essential extract widely known for its refreshing and citrus fragrance. This popular extract is found in the tropical parts of Southeast Asia and Southern Italy and is reminiscent of a pear and orange fruit and has a deep green hue appearance and bumpy texture. In Greece, Bergamot Oil is popularly used in sweetmeats and is the ingredient found in Earl Grey tea, making it used in aromatherapy and culinary cuisines. It is widely cultivated due to its linalyl acetate, linalool, and limonene ingredients, which are highly beneficial to the body. It can both relax and uplift people, making Bergamot Oil the perfect essential extract to use. Because of this reason, it is used in a variety of different applications ranging from aromatherapy to beauty recipes.

Eye For Detail Tips With Wedding Rings In Melbourne

Eye For Detail Tips With Wedding Rings In Melbourne

Seeking out wedding rings in Melbourne cannot be an exercise that is undertaken on face value.

A quick skim of these materials will only outline what stands out on the surface level and participants can be left to pay for a design that is underwhelming and below their expectations.

To make the moment worthwhile, it is important to have an eye for detail with regards to wedding rings in Melbourne.

We will showcase some helpful tips that will point men and women in the right direction.

Cut Clarity

Wedding rings in Melbourne are often assessed according to their finer details of the cut when they are placed under the microscope. From their alteration under unique light conditions to the inclusions of dark spots, clouds, feathers and crystals, each item will be judged on its merit. The trick for customers is to avoid those fake designs that could pass off as authentic cuts without those official checks.

Carat Rating

Interested parties with these diamond cuts will often see these goods ranked on a sliding scale for their carat rating. From the smallest of brands with the 0.1 carat, they will increase to the 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1.0, 1.25, 1.5, 1.75, 2, 2.5, 3 and 4 carat status respectively. These ratings will be commensurate with the price tag, so they should be sorted according to the user criteria and budget.

Inspection Status

If an eye for detail is a key component to investing in these materials, then it will be the job of professional inspectors to deliver a verdict on wedding rings in Melbourne. They will take all of the available information to hand with their cut clarity and their carat size before outlining if they are poor, fair, good, very good or excellent. Consumers should look to acquire documentation on this point rather than taking the jewellers word for it.

Shape Format & Colour Specification

The shape and colour of wedding rings in Melbourne can be customised to suit a range of tastes, but participants who want to focus in on the smaller details are advised to consider what options they have at their disposal. This will span the heart, oval, square, marquise, emerald, asscher, pear, princess and radiant formats. The colour tones can be obvious or subtle depending on the production, with clients examining options based on a sliding scale for brightness.

Wedding Band Style & Size

The band is the complementary component with wedding rings in Melbourne that has to be delicately managed. The size of the partner has to be 100% precise, so users should look at any other jewellery and ring pieces to acquire a precise measurement. Then the style has to be reflected on, tapping into silver, gold, rose gold or white gold brands.

Jeweller Community Reputation

Shoppers in this Melbourne ring market are looking out for their own interests when they gauge the temperature of the business according to their past track record. Ratings and reviews are openly published through search engine profiles and social media hubs, helping individuals who want to be guided by public opinion based on their years of service in the community.

Insurance & Warranty Status

Wedding rings in Melbourne are always safe investments when clients tap into an insurance policy or a warranty agreement. This might include something of a surcharge initially, but these stipulations that are placed on the terms and conditions of service are important barometers for the health of the long-term investment opportunity.

Price Policies

Clients recognise that most wedding rings in Melbourne are expensive, especially if they are sought at the high-end of the market. With this being said, there are payback schemes, loans and flexible arrangements that can be accessed depending on the approach of the brand. Take note of these details before writing off any cuts.

Russell Herbert Jack, Southland Yoga Founder, Explains How and Where to Practice Walking Meditation

Russell Herbert Jack, Southland Yoga Founder

Walking meditation may be a lesser-known technique, but it can be a highly useful and extremely effective way to practice mindfulness when performed properly. Below is a simple guide by Russell Herbert Jack, Southland Yoga guru, that can help you learn how and where to effectively practice walking meditation and what to wear while doing so.

Step 1: What to Wear

Before you practice walking meditation, you’re going to want to make sure you’re dressed comfortably. Just as with any form of meditation, it’s as important to be comfortable as it is to avoid any form of distraction and allow for greater relaxation. Wear anything that is not burdensome and will not obstruct free movement. As for footwear, socks or bare feet are best for indoors, while any kind of comfortable shoe or sandals will do for outdoors.

Step 2: Where to Go

In order to properly practice walking meditation, you’re going to need an open and unobstructed space in which you are able to walk in a straight line for a distance of at least ten feet. Some practitioners prefer a larger area, but you can easily make do with ten feet if need be. Always try and ensure that your walking meditation area is peaceful, relaxing, and distraction-free.

Step 3: Center Yourself

Once you’ve found your ideal area, prepare yourself with some box breathing. This is done by slowly inhaling, holding your breath, slowly exhaling, and holding again, all in four-second intervals, and then repeating the cycle. Do this until you feel centered and free of distraction.

Step 4: Begin Walking

Now walk from one end of your area to the other, focusing on the mechanics of each and every step. Once you’ve reached the end of your area, take a moment to pause and breathe, then turn around and walk back.

Create a gentle natural rhythm with your walking, and give the lifting, moving, and placing of each foot, as well as the shifting of weight from one foot to the other, great attention. This cyclical act is intended to center you and increase your capacity for mindfulness the more you practice it.

What to Do with Your Arms and Hands

Walking meditation is supposed to be as natural as possible. This means that you should do whatever feels the most comfortable with your arms and hands, whether that means clasping your hands together in front of your body or behind it or letting your arms hang freely at your side. If ever you should feel too mechanical in any aspect of your walking, try to relax your body and find the most organic and comfortable form of movement that you can.

When You Become Distracted

Distractions, and a wandering mind, are an inevitable part of meditation. When these things arise, allow them their time and then refocus. It’s important not to resist your wandering mind, but rather to acknowledge it and let it pass.

8 steps I took to grow my interior design business

steps I took to grow my interior design business

Starting a business comes with many challenges and growing your business can, at times seem like an impossible task. When you’re facing a competitive industry you may be unsure of how to even begin. As daunting as it sometimes was however, the path to turning my interior design business from a home office project to one of the most successful firms in my industry was these 8 steps.

#1 Set a clear goal

Before you start doing anything, you need to have a clear goal for your business. Although you should be prepared for some unexpected changes along the way, the first thing I did was sit myself down and figure out my business’ mission. What do we offer? How do we deliver it? Where do we hope to be in the future? These are just some of the questions you need to be asking yourself. Once you have these answers and feel confident in what you want to bring to the world, then you can start devising a plan of action.

#2 Delve into the online world

Pretty much everyone is online these days so my next step was to make a website and social media accounts for my brand. They were pretty basic at first I’ll admit but it was a start. It was a place to explain the mission that I had so carefully crafted and a place for people outside my circles to find out about what we did.

#3 Determine a digital marketing strategy

Utilising the digital world is an essential part of growing your business. There are a vast array of tools and strategies that can help your website emerge as the most popular in your industry. I made it my mission to find a digital marketing company that understood what appeals to customers and could take advantage of Google to put my website on top. I hired an SEO company called SEO Shark and they optimised my website, my social media and helped me manage the confusing aspects of the online world. At this stage in your company growth, this is a vital step and will be the moment that you truly start to see your business’ popularity skyrocket. My online presence was crucial for gaining my first few clients and has continued to be an important part of my success.

#4 Start spreading the word

Finally, I felt like I was ready to present my business to the world. It was time to start spreading the world that we were here! The easiest way to start putting your products or services out there is to simply start telling people about them. The obvious way is to start with family, friends, acquaintances, whoever will listen! This is also a great way to start networking and meet people who could potentially help you further your business along the track.

#5 Get to know your target audience

Now that I knew what I was setting out to do, I decided I should consider who my services were for. Getting to know your target audience is a great way to determine how you’re going to brand your business and what sort of branding you should aim for. Consider who your product would benefit most or who your clients are likely to be and start thinking about what they might like to see that would convince them to hire you.

#6 Research your competition

An easy way to determine where you might take your business next is to have a look at what other companies in your industry are doing with theirs. Scoping out the competition gives you a chance to evaluate the pros and cons of what they are doing and determine if there are any gaps where you might better the industry or provide something a little bit different.

#7 Upgrade your office space

At this point, my business was gaining traction, and fast. It was time to upgrade from my squishy little home office to a space that would allow me to properly run a business. Sometimes your environment can have an effect on your mindset and having a proper office space really helped to get me in the zone.

#8 Hire some help

Now I had the space and a business that was growing faster and faster by the day. It was time to bring a team on board to keep this momentum going. Obviously, the bigger your business gets, the more people you need to hire to manage the workload. As I gained more of a reputation and started attracting more and more clients, I hired a team of likeminded individuals who believed in my mission to help me run the business and manage clients.

#9 Create a community

A sense of community is important for attracting potential customers and keeping the existing ones satisfied and proud to be a user of your services. For me, building a community was about being open and honest about what we were doing and making an effort to talk with my clients about what was happening with the company and keeping them updated on their individual projects. Creating an approachable and personable brand was part of my mission and something that I think assisted in giving me the loyal customer base that I now have.

There is so much involved with starting and growing a business. These steps were my method and proved effective for not only generating sales but creating a community through which my company could continue to grow. Don’t let yourself get overwhelmed, create a plan for yourself and be prepared for anything. Stay true to your ideas and know that there is value in what you do.

10 Canadian Pharmacy Myths

Canadian Pharmacy Myths

Did you know that there are a lot of myths about Canadian Pharmacy? If this is something that you fancy to know about, you’re in the right place. So in this article get ready for the 10 Canadian Pharmacy myths to be debunked!

Selling drugs online is illegal

This only applies to unauthorized suppliers. If a pharmacy has all the necessary permissions, it can legally sell drugs online.

All drugs are produced in Canada

There are lots of pharmaceutical companies in Canada both headquarters and local branches of the foreign company such as Pfizer. But not all drugs are produced in Canada.

Pharmaceutical companies exaggerate production costs to justify high pricing

The cost of developing and manufacturing pharmaceuticals is very high. To develop and manufacture new pharmaceuticals, the company needs to pay developers, introduce new technology, etc. Generic manufacturers might bear fewer expenses, but they still cost quite high.

If pain or discomfort persists or worsens, it’s okay to take more than the prescribed dose

The prescribed dosage of your medication is not based on the doctor’s personal choice, it depends on your current medical condition, and exceeding the prescribed dosage could have dangerous consequences such as an accidental overdose or liver damage.

Once the patient feels better, it’s no longer necessary for them to take their medication

Your doctor will be giving you a set of instructions about the prescribed medication like asking you to take the medication for an entire week, etc. Feeling better does not always mean that you’re already cured and free from illnesses. That is why it is always best to follow the given instructions upon the prescription of the medicine for you to enjoy the long-lasting effects of your medications.

Natural supplements are safer than their prescribed counterparts

People tend to often have confusion between the words “healthy” and “normal”. Natural supplements don’t always mean “healthy”. In line with this, patients should be reminded that the FDA standards for natural supplements are much weaker than the standards for approved drugs. Natural supplement’s side effects may not even be listed on their label, and supplements also can have conflicts with certain medications.

Medications are best stored in the bathroom or near the kitchen sink

Keep in mind that medications should be kept in a dry place and away from heat, and direct light. Some medications simply lose their potency once exposed to heat and humid environments. Careful precautions should always be advised.

Canadian drug prices are not excessive; we already get a reasonable deal on pharmaceuticals.

Confidential price negotiations usually widen the gap between drug prices in Canada, since smaller provincial drug plans have less negotiating power and discounts only apply to people who are covered by public plans.

A Pharmacist only knows about prescription medications

Pharmacists can easily assist and guide you with different types of medications and drugs such as vitamins and supplements. In fact, they are made to be aware of the substances that you are taking so that they can assist you accurately.

Pharmacare will reduce the choice of drugs to the detriment of patients.

Not all Pharmacare programs aim to cover most prescriptions. There are proposals to start universal coverage in Canada with a small list of essential drugs. Other prescriptions would continue to be paid for by the existing public and private plans or directly by patients.

The Philippines: The Contact Centre Outsourcing Destination of Choice for Australian Companies

Ralf Ellspermann, CEO of PITON-Global
Ralf Ellspermann, CEO of PITON-Global

In a study done just last year in Australia, 44% of people surveyed listed talking to a live person on the phone as their preferred method of communicating with a business. This means, despite all our technological advancements, from artificial intelligence to electronic gadgets, people still want to speak directly with people.

Communication is essential, but it’s often a hard thing for people to master. From differences in spoken language to low-context vs high-context communication and even non-verbal communication, there are many obstacles to clarity.

Despite all the technology at our disposal, contact centres are still needed, and we expect to see the industry continue to grow. On a global scale, projections show the contact centre industry growing to  $350 billion AUD annually,  with a 15% increase in total employees. Yes, you can say business is looking good.

This boom has come thanks in part to the rapid growth of global Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). This sector continues to be a major driver for the outsourcing industry as a whole worldwide.

Here are two more important statistics to note. 58% of consumers polled said that customer service is a major factor in purchasing decisions, and another 61% said they have stopped doing business with a company altogether after a poor interaction.

Call centres handle a wide array of roles and processes; they have begun to adopt the term contact centre to reflect this. These centres handle customer experience management, lead generation, telemarketing, collections, and tech support and pretty much anything else involved with direct customer contact. So, while contact centres are not in charge of just customer service, their primary function is to serve customers, and that is an important thing to understand.

To execute these functions, infrastructure is paramount. You cannot have communication without connectivity. Ralf Ellspermann, CEO of PITON-Global, a leading BPO provider in the Philippines, says, “For this, you need a reliable power grid. In more affluent countries, power can be taken for granted, going out only during storms. In countries that are on the rise, which are popular spots for BPO companies, the grids may not be so reliable. However, the Philippines recognises the urgency of dependable infrastructure. Here, the grid stays up and keeps your BPO partnership running smoothly.”

Another critical aspect is the ability of the contact centre staff to communicate clearly and effectively with your customers. “It is important to note how this process interacts directly with your customer base. It is essentially your public face, or more accurately, your voice, that is speaking directly with your customer base. In our digitally connected global marketplace, it is vital that your contact centre be a multilingual one,” explains Ellspermann.

Where do you turn for this?

You guessed it—the Philippines’ contact centre industry, which is richly endowed with a workforce of experienced, well-educated, and multi-lingual professionals. “This advantage—the ability to field calls and communicate with customers all over the world—cannot be overstated,” Ellspermann adds.

With companies like PITON-Global leading the way, you are in the safest of hands when it comes to outsourcing your call centre operation. Every business decision you make reflects your company to the public, and contact centre operations are no different. In fact, in many ways, they are one of the most visible. As you make your decision, weigh the importance of your BPO partner’s ability to communicate effectively with your customer, 7×24. And be sure to consider the unrivalled world champion in contact centre outsourcing, the Philippines.
