Many people in the world want to live longer, and whilst our average lifespan has only gone up since the past due to developing medicine and technology, there are changes that we can implement ourselves to ensure a longer lifespan. These are all simple things that people know will help them to be healthier, but many have trouble implementing one, if any of these changes in their life, in order to live a healthier life. However, these changes are the keys to a longer life; all it requires is a bit of dedication and commitment.
Healthy diet
What you feed your body every day is going to affect your health and how you feel both mentally and physically. A healthy diet should be utilized in everyday life, in order to keep yourself fuelled for the day and providing your body with the nutrients in needs to properly function and support itself. This includes protein, complex carbohydrates, good fats and minerals/vitamins.
Regular exercise
Exercise considered regular at 30 minutes or more a day of vigorous daily activity. Exercise helps to make your muscles stronger, your heart healthier and your lungs working well. All of these things combined make a healthier body, and a longer lifespan.
Moderate alcohol intake and no smoking
It’s well-known that smoking will decrease your lifespan, so that is obviously out. Alcohol is never good for you in any capacity, however moderating your intake should not affect your lifespan too much.
A longer lifespan is determined by how healthy you are in your day-to-day life.
This is generally determined by a healthy diet, regular exercise and moderate alcohol intake with no smoking at all. These keys combined create a longer lifespan, and must be adhered to with commitment and discipline in order to live longer.
